Useful Links

This section is pretty self-expanatory, just a mish-mash of websites dedicated to line dancing, with comments about them. If you have a line dance website and you want it to be included on this page, then just e-mail me and I'll add a link as soon as possible (a reciporical link would be useful).

  • www.kickit.to    is a fantastic website maintained by Peter Blaskowski which includes approximately 4,000 step descriptions and has the very useful feature of being able to find a dance by the title of a particular song.
  • Information Super Dance Floor is a database of thousands of dance steps compiled by Don Deyne. New dances are added monthly making this a site a must visit for all serious boot scooters. There are also many links to other line dance websites.
  • Line Dance Fun is a website based in San Francisco (all together now ... "I left my heart in ...") and is also worthy of a look.
  • Gotta Line Dance is the place to go if you want to meet some of the best choreographers and instructors. It also provides information about line dance competitions and events and has some dance descriptions to boot (if you pardon the pun :-)).
  • Linedancer Magazine is a magazine dedicated to line dancing and is based in Southport, England.
  • LineDance Crazy is a website produced by Aiden Montgomery, who has actually taught us a few dances. It includes information about Rob Fowler, The British Line Dancing Championships, various step sheets and interesting links for the dancer.
  • Vicki Rader's Country Line Dancing is maintained, surprisingly enough, by Vicki Rader. She runs a line dancing class in Maryland, and this site includes a step descriptions to a handful of dances that are presumably popular in her local area.
  • UK Choreographed Line Dances: Oh, come on, you don't exactly need a degree in Advanced Quantum Electrodynamics to work out what this site is about. Also includes partner dances.
  • AB's Stompers is a line dance club based in Hertfordshire, England, and gives the "low down" on all the current dances in that neck of the woods, as well as having a respectable amount of dance descriptions and links to other line dance sites.
  • Dancing Deep in the Heart of Texas is another large, well set up website. Well worth a visit or three.
  • BootMovers Line Dance UK is a nice site about line dancing based in the South of England, but it also includes news about the music as well. Yet another site well worth visiting.
  • Luky Luke Country Dancers are the Canadian Champions 98 (amateur category). Find out about them here.
